American Motorcross Racer Eli Tomac, who began his professional career in 2010, has established himself as one of the top-rated riders in the business. Tomac earns a pretty good salary from the risky sport he is involved in. Along with his attractive motor cross salary, Tomac's merchandise and apparel sales have also contributed to his increasing net worth.

Tomac's Professional Accomplishments

Tomac started his journey as a professional rider at the age of 18 with the AMA Pro Motocross race and ended up becoming the first rider to win a professional debut.

The racer then went on to win a supercross and US Motorcross Championship in 2012 and 2013. As a result, he moved up to the premier 450 class in early 2014. Followed by that, in 2015, Tomac won three AMA Supercross races along with two overall wins in the Motorcross Season before being away from a double shoulder injury. Then in 2016, the sports racer completed his full season with the Kawasaki  KX 450F. He finished the Motorcross season in the third position with three wins.

Maintaining his momentum with an impressive winning streak of nine wins in a row, Tomac rounded out the 2017 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season with a second overall finish. Moreover, the same year, representing the Kawasaki Team, the rider was named the AMA Pro Motocross Champion and won his first 450cc Championship.

2018 was a year to remember as he dominated the Monster Energy AMA Supercross with eight main events to his name. The 28-year-old became the first back-to-back Monster Energy Cup Winner in the sport's history in the last twelve years. The same year, he grabbed a whopping  $1million, aka "Monster Million," when he won all three motos.

In 2019, followed by his winning streak and glory, the champion finished the AMA season pretty strong with second-place overall at Monster Energy Cup.

A year later, just when the world was about to shut down amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kawasaki rider was able to lead the table in the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross.  He also won his first Monster Energy AMA Supercross 450SX class championship.

Upon winning his 2020 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, Kawasaki handed over their rider with a brand new accessorized Teryx KRX® 1000 side x side. In addition to that, Tomac was also presented with his 2020 supercross championship ring by Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A.

Wow! What a surprise! I was not expecting this at all. What a cool gift from everyone at Kawasaki.

As far as his net income goes, the annual earnings of a professional rider who has over eight years of experience is an average of $61k. Top riders like Tomac can make up to $12k per race. Moreover, the sponsorship deals from energy drinks, bike producers, apparel, and gear companies pay quite a handsome amount to advertise their products on a rider's racing suits and bikes.

Tomac Has His Merchandise and Apparel Brand

Not just that, Tomac also generates his income through his own merchandise and apparel sold on his website that includes helmets, his 450Kawasaki replica bike, hoodies, t-shirts, beanies, cap, socks, and many more items. According to his website, Tomac has over 1 million social media followers to whom he sells his merchandise.

The professional athlete might also get a commission from the sale of branded clothing in collaboration with Kawasaki, launched in 2018. It features a full collection of his technical apparel with Tomac's personal "ET3" brand.
