Singer and actress Hilary Duff has announced she will marry her ice hockey star boyfriend Mike Comrie.
The 22-year-old, who has been dating the Edmonton Oilers player since 2007, was on holiday with the sportsman and friends when he popped the question.
Spotted enjoying some time out from her busy schedule, Duff was dressed down in a grey vest and straw hat.
And there was no mistaking the sparkle coming from her be-jewelled left hand.

The former Gossip Girl star's representative confirmed her engagement to Us magazine saying: 'Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie were engaged this weekend while vacationing in Hawaii.

'After having been together for over two years, they are very excited to share this happy news. They are thankful for all of your warm wishes.'
The couple's engagement come as no surprise following and interview with the magazine last year in which the former child star gushed: "I've never met anyone who could say a bad word about him.
"He's generous, caring, funny. We just laugh our heads off, which I need in my life ... He's unique. I wouldn't want to be with someone who wasn't unique."
The actress's announcement comes just days after Nicole Richie revealed Duff's ex-boyfriend, Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, had also got down on one knee.
The pair were an item for two years but parted just prior to Madden meeting Richie. They have since had two children - Harlow and Winter - together.

Announcing their engagement on the Late Show With David Letterman - aired last night - Richie said: 'We are actually recently engaged.'
She also spoke about how being a mother put an end to her former hard-partying lifestyle.

The 28-year-old said: 'It sounds cheesy but your life changes and your priorities change in the best way possible. I still like to go out with my friends occasionally.'
Richie has had plenty of opportunity to show off her engagement ring and seems to be ensuring everyone gets a chance to admire her new gem.
The former Simple Life star showcased the beautiful piece when signing autographs for fans in Montreal in Canada.

Duff and Comrie and Richie and Madden have yet to announce the date of their respective nuptials.
