Lisa Hochstein has been searching for someone to help with childcare on The Real Housewives of Miami. However, when she revealed her struggle to find an English-speaking Nanny, many questioned her ethnicity.
The Peacock show sees the ins-and-outs of glamorous ladies living in Miami, including Lisa, who lets cameras into her life while juggling work, being a wife and looking after her children.
Amid her recent decision to begin removing her fillers, viewers are getting to know the real her, including seeing her natural face, and therefore leading fans to question her ethnic background.
Lisa Hochstein’s ethnicity
Lisa was born in Toronto, Canada, and has a mixed ethnicity. Her father is of both German, Scottish and Canadaian descent, while her mother is of Jamaican origin. The American national now lives in Miami, Florida.
When Lisa revealed she finds it difficult to look for an English-speaking Nanny, after the last woman to help with childcare quit the role, she went on to say that they tend to speak in the Spanish language.
Previously, the RHOM star gave her old Nanny free plastic surgery. Although Lisa received some backlash for making these comments, a fan backed her by saying she “just wants easy communication”.

Lisa’s mom is from Seaford Town in Jamaica. Both her and Lisa’s father don’t tend to appear on any RHOM episodes, but she looks closer than ever with her family, despite living far away from them.
Both Lisa and her husband Lenny took her mom, aunt and cousin to her mom’s favourite restaurant Benihana for Mother’s Day several years ago, where she revealed she “wishes they lived closer”.
She is also just as close to Lenny’s parents, as seen on the Instagram picture [second photo down].

Growing up, Lisa was a trained dancer and began participating in pageants and modeling at an early age. This led to her becoming a Playboy playmate, appearing in the magazine on three occasions; twice in 2006 and once in 2007.
Now 39 years old, she was originally born as Lisa Marie McCallum on July 24th 1982. Fast forward to 2002 and the star was crowned Miss Swimsuit Canada. Four years later, she appeared in the Zach Braff-Rachel Bilson film “The Last Kiss.”
Lisa is now a mom-of-two, having welcomed with her husband Lenny, son Logan on July 3, 2015, and daughter Elle on September 16, 2019. The family-of-four currently live in Miami together.
